Solar Water Heating (SWH) system

Solar water heater is a technology designed to harness sunlight for its heat energy. This heat is often used for heating water used in homes, businesses, swimming pools, etc. In Solar water heating (SWH) the water is heated using a solar thermal collectors. Solar water heating systems comprise various technologies that are used worldwide increasingly. In a “close-coupled” SWH system the storage tank is horizontally mounted immediately above the solar collectors on the roof. No pumping is required as the hot water naturally rises into the tank through a process of thermosiphon flow.

This system greatly reduces the usage of high wattage geysers for water heating purposes. And thus saves the user from grid consumption. Nowadays this system also incorporates an electrical heating rod which can used when the climate is cloudy / rainy. Adequate plumbing to be done to connect with the hot water lines. This SWH system comes with pump compatible or without pump compatible (gravity model).
